But at 36 in my prime, I would say you have answered quite nicely. I like to be clay, mold myself to overcome the obstacles, I like to be oil to smooth out the problems or issues, I like to be the glue, to hold the team together. We are there to fill in gaps be it collaboration and communication among the team, or simply to give that pat on the back if need be. We must know each aspect of the process from conception to postmortem not the "development" details but foresee the pitfalls that could cause a disruption in the process, timeline and budget... Another point worth raising is that producers who want to work on international content need to either have specific cultural knowledge of the areas the content is reaching, or know how to bounce their work off those that do.
