Book Giveaway: The Tipping Point

// April 12th, 2009 // 4 Comments » // Giveaways

I’m holding a new book giveaway. This time you can get a free copy of The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. I received two copies for Christmas so I thought I’d give one away to one of my Twitter followers.

My previous book giveaway was a copy of Now Is Gone: A Primer on New Media for Executives and Entrepreneurs by Geoff Livingston. The prize went to a random commenter on this blog (congrats Mario and thanks for commenting).

This time I’ve decided to give the book to one of my followers on Twitter. All you have to do to try and get the book is follow me. If you already follow me, you are already eligible to get the book.

I’ll pick a random person to get the book around the end of May. Good luck!

Book Giveaway: Now is Gone

// May 20th, 2008 // 1 Comment » // Giveaways

now is gone I’m giving away a brand new copy of Now Is Gone: A Primer on New Media for Executives and Entrepreneurs to one of my readers.

I’ve been looking for a good introduction to new media that I can pass along to people who are looking for an overview. I picked up now is gone hoping it was such a book and it turned out to be a good find. (Thanks to Dave Fleet for mentioning it on his blog.)

If you’re a new media professional, the book will be old hat to you, but it’s ideal for someone who is just learning about the industry. As such, I thought it was the perfect giveaway for the start of a new media blog.

So, how do you win? Just leave a comment on any post on this blog. Leave your actual email address because that’s how I’ll contact you to let you know you’ve won. I will not share/sell or use your email for any other purpose. Since this blog is new, I’ll give it a month or two to get enough comments before I declare a winner.

I hope this will be the first of many great giveaways.

UPDATE: congrats to Mario for winning this blog’s first giveaway. Thanks for commenting!
