Supercross

Yesterday we went to the Skydome to watch Supercross and Allen got a bunch of amazing photos of the event.

Neither of us had ever been to an event like this before, it was pretty impressive. The Skydome was filled tons of dirt and there must have been over 100 very skilled riders competing in heats that lasted 3 hours.

The downside was the fumes. Turns out 100 motorcycles in a closed space, even one as big as the Skydome fills the air with pollution. We both got headaches from it. I would go to another event like it again, but it’d be better if it was outdoors.

I kept thinking of my nephew Josh who does a bit of dirt biking. He would have LOVED it!

    Hey Guin, was great to see you guys yesterday. Too bad it was so loud I could barely talk to the people beside me, let alone the two of you way down the row. Allen got some good shots. I’m really regretting not bringing my camera. See you soon.

    i have heard great things from the supercross skydome, but never been myself. nice pic and sounds like a great event.
