Who Should I Follow on Twitter?
// April 14th, 2009 // Internet
I asked this question several times on Twitter over the last few weeks. I wanted to find out who Twitter users felt were the most valuable people to follow. Here are the recommendations I received:
- @AdeleMcAlear
- @audiophilia
- @brentspiner
- @charleneli
- @davezatz
- @digitalfemme
- @Enderle
- @harrymccracken
- @Hermida
- @ikepigott
- @jowyang
- @jsnell
- @LanceUlanoff
- @mashable
- @mayormiller
- @mediaphyter
- @michaelgeist
- @missrogue
- @MissVerna
- @modernmod (recommended twice!)
- @mrskutcher
- @msurman
- @phryl
- @Rafe
- @robtyrie
- @tamera
- @televisionary
- @thurrot
- @tinkugallery
- @travelartist
In addition to making two of the follow recommendations in the above list, @davefleet also pointed me to his excellent list of people to follow.
As for my recommendations? Well I follow all the people I do for good reason, but right now I’m going to single out @mathewi who is the community editor at the Globe and Mail, entrepreneur @markevans of PlanetEye, @craigritchie who is a strategist at Organic and @doshdosh who blogs about… blogging.
Okay so I singled out all Canadians. Guess I’m feeling patriotic.
Twitter has a tradition called #followfriday where each Friday, you recommend people to follow. I’m really interested in following more quality Twitter users, so please continue to give me your recommendations either in the comments or send them to me on Twitter.
I hope this list helps you find a few quality tweeters!
